Juhee Cheon is a cultural researcher and writer. Cheon is currently serving as a researcher for the Center for Cultural Society and an editorial member for Culture/Science. She has been writing scholarly articles and books focusing on youth debt, discourse, labor, and poverty and won Korean Publishing Culture Awards in 2017. Her main books are Entrapped in Ivory Tower: Why does Studying More Make Us Poorer? (2016) and Who Quits If The Company Is Fine? (2019). Cheon’s recent interests are millennial discourse, artist sustainability, and cultural politics of gender and minorities.
