Eun Sun Lee is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Gyeongsang National University.
She received her B.A. in Economics from Kyung Hee University, and her M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Public Administration from Korea University.
Both of her master"s and doctoral dissertations are on social enterprise. Before joining GNU, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the Community Wellbeing Research Center, Seoul National University, and at the Graduate School of Governance at Sungkyunkwan University.
She is the author of Social Enterprise, Policy Entrepreneurs, and the Third Sector: The Case of South Korea (2015). Her research interests include social and solidarity economy, social value measurement, civil society, and governance.
From November 2020 to June 2021, she participated in UNRISDs SDPI pilot test and directly performed tests for three Korean companies.
